The Benchmade Presidio II is a large pocket knife, designed for the more demanding tasks. Large blade, substantial handle, optimal ergonomics: this pocket knife inspires confidence. The blade is made from CPM S30V steel. An American metallurgical type of powder steel. Sounds difficult, but it is important for you to know that this is high-tech steel with excellent properties for a pocket knife. Good sharpness retention, excellent rust resistance and pretty good to sharpen yourself.
The handle is made from CF-Elite, instead of aluminium which we saw on the previous versions. CF-Elite is a relatively new handle material comprised of polymer reinforced with carbon fibre. A rock-solid material that was originally used in the car and aviation industry. CF-Elite weighs next to nothing. This version of the Presidio II is lighter than its predecessors. The grooves in the sides offer you enough grip. You open the Presidio II with the thumb stud. A solid Axis lock will keep the blade in place.
